How to Create a Call To Action

  1. Log into your agency website.
  2. Click on Add micro-content.
  3. Select Call-To-Action (CTA).
  4. Add Title (required).
    1. The Title is required so that the CTA can be found in the back-end of the system.
    2. It will display at the top of the Icon List CTA block.
    3. Check the Hide Title box if you don’t want the title of the CTA to be displayed on the site as a part of the content.
  5. Enter a URL Destination (required). Enter the URL and Link Text for the page that your CTA should link to.
    1. If referencing an internal link (another link on this site), begin typing the name of the page you want to reference. A drop-down list will appear and you can select a page from there.
    2. If you’re linking off to an external site, you’ll need to include the full URL (https://www.google.com).
    3. Add Link Text. This is how your URL will display to users (displayed as a button). For example, you might enter “Apply” in the Link Text field
      1. Link Text is required if you are linking to an external site.
      2. For links to internal pages, if you leave Link Text blank, the word "More" will appear in the button by default.
  6. Use the Description field to give more detail to your CTA (optional).
    1. This field is limited to 150 characters.
  7. Add an image to the CTA (optional).
    1. Click the Add Image button.
    2. You can choose an image that’s already been added:
      1. Click on the desired image.
      2. Click the Select button at the bottom of the window.
    3. You can also upload a new image:
      1. Click Upload at the top of the screen.
      2. Drag the image from a location on your computer or choose Select Files to open the location of the image. How to Upload an Image
      3. Click Save.
  8. Select the Card checkbox if you want the CTA to display with the card decoration around it (optional).
  9.  Select an Icon from the list provided (optional).
    1. The selected Icon will only display if Card box is check and there is no Image.
  10. To publish your CTA, check the Published checkbox.
    1. To Save as a Draft without publishing, leave the box unchecked.
  11. Click Save
