Bloom Updates: Adding a Video to a Landing Page
To add a video to a Landing Page:
First, log into to your agency website.
Click on Content under Content Libraries, then select the Landing Page you want to add the video to. Note: The content library can be filtered by content type, by clicking the content type drop down arrow and selecting Landing Page, followed by filter.
From the selected Landing Page, click on Layout from the editor menu bar at the top of the page.
In the Landing Page layout mode, scroll down to the section in the Landing Page where the video will be added.
Next, click on Add Block. A menu column will appear on the far-right side of the page with block options to select from.
Scroll down to the end of the menu column, under Other, click on Video.
An Add Video box will open up. You can then elect to add a video from 1.) Video Library or 2.) Create a Remote Video.
To add a video from the Video Library:
Filter the video library by video name or published status, click filter.
Click on the video you want to add from the filter list, click select.
Scroll through the video library, click on the video to be added, click select.
On the far-right side of the page, in the Configure Block, click Insert Block.
To Create a Remote Video:
Click the link to Create a Remote Video. Followed by:
Type video name (required).
Type video URL, required. Note: This is the url address to the external video source.
Upload image for thumbnail (optional).
Select category (optional).
Add caption (optional). Note: The caption is a brief description of the video.
Add credit(s) (optional).
Provide transcript (optional). Note: A transcript contains the text of what is said in a video.
Add Program/Service (optional). Note: Up to 3 content types can be added.
Click Save.
On the far-right side of the page, in the Configure Block, click Insert Block.
