Color palette: Coastal Marshes

You can see this new color palette on the Orchard website under Styles > Colors, or you can add it to your website by going to Welcome > How to use Orchard and scrolling down the the Coastal Marshes section.

Icon link component

We added a new link style - icons! You can find this under Components > Link > Icon. These are great to draw attention to links or groups of links on your page. They help the elderly and people with learning disabilities find information.

Numbered steps component

This component serves the purpose of displaying a step-by-step process or instructions that must be followed in a certain order. You can use this component to build out a GovHub style “How Do I” page.

Form submit button component

We put the form submit button into its own component that can be found under Components > Forms > Submit button. We wanted to make it more visible for users who are building forms with Orchard.

Bug fixes and small changes

• We added a maximum length argument to the textarea component.

• Accessibility updates to radio buttons, checkboxes, dropdown selections, and the main menu component.

• We removed unnecessary controls from the accordion toggle component.

• Wording updates across the site to make usage guidance clearer.
