To Create an Automatic List:

  1. Log into your agency website.

  2. Hover over Content.

  3. Click on Micro-content, then Add MicroContent, then Automatic List.

  4. Add Title (required).

    1. The Title appears at the top of the page and is also used in URLs and anywhere the page is linked to from other content across the site.

  5. Add an Intro Text (optional). You can add a brief description about your Automatic List in the Intro Text field.  Note: This optional text will appear onscreen above the lists.

  6. List. Identify the type of List you want to add. Under List, click the down arrow to identify the type of list to add.

  7. Display As. Click the down arrow to determine the view mode to be used when rendering the results of the Automatic List.

  8. Check the “Show index jump links” box to display Listing Pages with an ABC list at the top. Note: Each letter in the ABC list would be an anchor link to jump down the page to the content starting with that letter. Results will be sorted ABC alphabetically.

  9. Items per Block. Use the up and down arrows to identify the number of items you want shown per block. Note: 25 items per block is suggested as the max.

  10. Show Pager. Check the show pager box if you want the page guide to show.

  11. Program or Service. Click the drop down arrow to identify a program or service.

  12. Begin adding your links for the Automatic List section:

    1. URL: Add a link.

      1. If referencing an internal link (another link on your site), begin typing the name of the page you want to reference. A drop-down list will appear and you can select your page from there.

      2. If referencing an external link (a page not on your site), type or paste the full URL in this field.

  13. Link Text: Give your link a name.  This is the text which will be visible onscreen for users to click. Note: If the link text is empty, the link text will show the default text, “More,” and add an ARIA label to make this link accessible for screen readers. If you populate the Link Text field, make sure to use descriptive text, like the title of the page it links to.

  14. Save and publish the content by checking the Published checkbox.
