Behavior Maps provide a visual representation of how visitors are interacting with each of the pages on your website. There are four types of behavior maps:

  • Heat Map – which content on a page is drawing your visitors’ attention

  • Scroll Map – how far down on a page visitors are scrolling

  • Click Map – the way that visitors interact with a page’s elements

  • Segmentation Map – how users from specific locations interact with a page

You should enable and set up behavior maps in Siteimprove as soon as possible, as they can only begin collecting data after you specify which pages/URLs you’d like mapped.
